fiveonfive media is always looking for fresh and engaging content that aligns with our mission to provide high-quality coverage of the roller derby community. We welcome submissions from writers, photographers, artists, and other creators who are passionate about the sport and its culture.
submission guidelines
- We accept a wide variety of content, including but not limited to: sports journalism, creative writing, poetry, storytelling, artwork, and photography.
- We encourage submissions that reflect the diversity of the roller derby community and explore underrepresented perspectives.
- Articles should be around 1000 words, while features should be between 1500-2000 words.
- We prefer submissions sent through google doc with edit access.
- We will review all submissions and respond within 2-3 weeks.
- We may edit submissions for grammar, punctuation, and style.
- If your submission is accepted, it will be published on our website and possibly shared on our social media platforms.
By submitting your work to fiveonfive media, you confirm that you have the right to do so, and that your submission does not infringe on any copyright or other rights of any person or entity.
